Awesome info.  Perfect timing!!  I have to pick my boat up after service and I never trailer it so a refresher course is greatly appreciated.  Now if they would just finish the service on it (😠) I would get back to fishing.  Can't freaking wait!!!!

I'm living that amber lens Costa life myself.  At lease I was until yesterday when they hit the floor and cracked like an egg.

Years ago I would go there and stayed at a couple of lodges.  Always smashed them on paddle tails.

I spend a lot of time on the ICW.  Some barges displace just little bit of water, some displace a ton, and some throw a wake you could surf behind.  Does anyone know a way of telling them apart as they approach?  Thanks in Advance!!

I have an Engel.  I like it.  For food and drinks I use Yeti soft bag coolers to keep it easy and light.

On Friday 03/07 I was fortunate to go on an instructional fishing trip with Captain "Sensei" McCumber.  While the conditions and fishing did not turn out they way we planned it was a great day on water.  I recently bought a boat after not owning one for about 20 years.  Needless to say after learning to drive the boat, figure out the trolling motor, read the GPS fish finder and trying to figure out where to catch fish my head has been spinning.  It got so bad I couldn't even cast may reel without blowing it up almost immediately.  Extremely frustrating!!  He fixed that in about 2 seconds.  Caleb is a natural instructor, knowledgeable, personable, and entertaining.  Not one time did I feel stupid or foolish for asking him any question at all and believe me I asked.  If I missed something he simply reminded me and it was greatly appreciated.  After his coaching I took my boat out Monday and was able to locate and catch several nice fish.   If you have the opportunity to go fishing with him I highly recommend it.

HI Larry.  Thank you for the reply.  Yes, that is pretty much what we found.  We fished the incoming tide and caught fish right as it started to come in.  A couple of slot reds and a few trout 16"-19" long.  Along with quite a few smaller fish, drum, and sheepshead mixed in.  Once we got about an hour before the tide topped out it shut down.  Heavy! Heavy! Boat traffic on Saturday.
