Caleb, where can you buy the Kevin's wake bait? 

I fish Baffin quite a bit. My go to is soft plastic 4” paddle tail. In most cases your gonna be dealing with a lot of floating grass depending where you are in Baffin. Instead of using weedless jigs, I just use an exposed jig head, usually 1/8 or 1/4 and just deal with the grass, and work to catch on the end of my cast. Depending on the area and how your fishing it can be quite a grind, but can produce really well if you stick with it. Colors I’ve done well on pink and redish knockin tails last two trips landing one 25” trout, and one 23” trout and some nice slot reds. Wading I work my water columns to help locate depending on how deep or shallow. Month ago on the bottom worked well, couple of weeks ago I had a 23” trout hit the minute the lure hit the surface. My go to for wade fishing and site casting is 6’ 6” Waterloo Carbon Mag casting rod. It’s a medium extra fast tip. I’ve landed Redfish from rats to a 34” bull, and everything in-between. Shorter rods will generally allow you to be more accurate, but the longer you go on rod length, the longer you can throw. It’s up to personal preference, but that’s what I use.

Harrison Lee average 2' to 3 1/2'. But as you're aware on the coast that can change quick, but a lot of Estes/RB is going to be in that depth range. Your tides will + or - those numbers also.  

In that area I drift or troll to a pot hole and push it up on plane in the pothole, or I drift or troll to deeper water and push it up on plane. You're gonna  have a little grass kick up from time to time from prop wash, but it's the folks running across the flats with their prop buried in the mud for 300 yards that tear it up. Just be conscious of your depths, your boat's capability, take your time, and you will be fine.  

I like Costa, one of my buddies brother started PBO/Hook and Bullet. PBO/HB are premium sunglasses designed specifically for pretty much everyone on this forum, but they don't have RX lenses yet. Costa does a decent job with prescription lenses, so for now it's Costa. I need to make sure I see that rock in Baffin just at the split second it's too late and I rip the lower unit off. I like to see my insurance claims coming. 🤣

I rinse with salt off on my waders and wading shoes every use and let them air dry.
