Galveston Pink Flamingo sighting while wading today lol. Idk if moody gardens has some escapees, but these were 100% pink flamingos. 😂 nashonjennings back me up!
No livestream this week. Hostgator pizzed us off with their mistake last week, so we fired them. We are moving to a different host and we need to wait a couple more days to make sure everything is where it needs to be, so we don’t crash another. Bc safety first is my middle name, as you all know. We will be back on track, shortly!
Throwing some Angler U knowledge bombs on these reds this morning(west galv) with my old man 🫡🙌🏻
Caught on 3” white skrimp chartreuse tail.
Sorry guys. I may be quitting the fishing industry and moving to South Dakota. PSA: Don’t let your friend talk you into going by paying for the trip. It’s gonna cost you a lot in the future. Most fun you can have with your clothes on! I did spend a lot of time on the phone with the app development people to make everyone’s experience better, so don’t think I just abandoned yall for a week!
What is your wading set up? I carry 2 of the three boxes with me in the holder on the belt. One box is top waters and hard baits, other two is one is dark baits and other soft.
Can yall add dates to the podcast? I like to take note of what’s going on certain time of the year.
Heading to wade East Bay tomorrow in Matagorda. If anyone is on the water feel free to join in. Will be my son and I.
High tides persist in Redfish Bay, but that’s OK, I like it like that. We seem to have a summer that just won’t end keeping water temperatures in the 70s throughout November.
Schools are mullet are still the obvious target to find where feeding predators are hanging out. The vast and endless flats of redfish bay can be a lot to search so looking for those clues to narrow down that search can be very helpful.
Upper slot reds have been steady on topwaters but if you like to throw a sub surface, they are very willing to eat that as well. And the cool thing about November and the first of December it is a great chance to get that speckled trout mixed in with areas that you always expect to find redfish. The forecast for the next week looks to be a lot of the same with one mild cold front that really won’t make much of a difference. So Drifting, long distances and hitting every sand hole is definitely going to be a fun week with steady action in Redfish Bay.
And I’d like to wish everybody a happy Thanksgiving, enjoy some good times with the family and tune in next week for Decembers predictions.
Freaking awesome day in West Galveston sight casting reds. It was just like the videos with the tails like little flags waving over here. I caught 6 reds from 22”-26” and my son caught 8 22”-29.5”. All caught in a foot or less of water on KWigglers Wig-A LO in the Truth color.
