Not to step on any toes if there's something being planned I'm unaware of but is there any interest in doing some sort of AU meetup either before or after Feeding Frenzy this year?

Was thinking it'd be cool to grab a meal or go hang out and fish a pier/shoreline or something outside of the big crowd. I know last year I missed meeting a lot of people

Big thanks to Laguna rods and Anglers Anonymous for the sweet new setup. Gonna have to do a proper photoshoot of this thing in action soon. Had to get that AU metallic red!

I like to keep a compressor and one of those jumper packs in the truck. Always handy when you need em

Only 16 inchers this morning but got to try out the quick clips Larry graciously sent out. Both caught on Kwigglers ball tail pearl hot with whatever random jighead was sitting in my kayak

With kayak conditions possibly being less than favorable in East Matagorda this Tuesday or Wednesday I'm looking to try somewhere new. Kayaking, wading or shorefishing, is there anywhere within a couple hours y'all would recommend this week?

I used Princeton-Tec for years in Alaska but these days I mostly use this little Nebo Mycro. Only $25 or less, fits in my pocket and plenty bright.

Flounder in any form but #FlounderAreAMyth so I'll occasionally keep a red on the half shell with cajun seasoning and some lime
