Good day on the water yesterday after the fishing show. Had to rely on instincts and visuals because my genius self forgot the Garmin, so we didn’t have a good read on water temp. From what we could gather, temps were upper 50s, low 60s… major was from 2-5pm. Once we located bait over a warmer bottom, it was on. 30 reds and 20+ trout. Shut off like a light switch like clock work after the major. All on slim groovy jerks. Not much on corkys or soft dines. Few on top. They wanted a light jig head! Tight lines! Of course I caught more than nashonjennings
Gotta question on hooks. I've been replacing some rusted hooks and began searching different hook styles. Can anyone explain the difference between O'SHAUGHNESSY hooks vs say rapala? Is there an advantage of one vs the other?

My son made an interesting point today about the livestreams every Tuesday. It’s essentially like going out to dinner every Tuesday night with a guide and just having a conversation and learning as much as possible. Where the hell can you do that for $20 a month???? Man AU ROCKS!!
Get out to the fishing show. The AU booth is top notch. It’s right up front as you walk in. Caleb has the new Grande Turtlebox. That thing is a beast!!! Was awesome getting to put faces to names yesterday as I walked around. AU hats all over. The new stickers look good as well.
Any intel on fishing out of Puerto Aventura in Mexico? Going to be there in May, and would like to get on the water for a day or 2. Any experience with the guides there?
