I am wondering if anyone knows what this north wind will do for the north shore of east matagorda bay. I’m not sure if Friday I should target some areas on the south shore or if the north shore is a better bet. Not looking for spots more so trying to learn how different winds make the water clarity behave in that bay.

I run a Sabine skiff, with the low tides as they've been, what are some tips for running around Aransas Pass area? Planning to go Monday. I've been once over there, but on a much higher tide when we could run all over. I'm more familiar with POC, but again not at ultra low tides. I'm figuring to run the channels and putt around the edges of Brown and Root, or Redfish bay. I figure if I putt or pole in, I can push or pole out ha.
Main objective is to scout and learn the area. Secondary to sight fish pushing up onto the flats mid morning through afternoon. Any tips on navigating the area?
With the thought of off shore fishing coming up. What safety communication items are you taking with you?
Maybe even items to take with you in bays as well.
Solid fish outside of dewberry island in POC. In the cooler weather. Schools of sheepshead and black drum gave them away. The reds were mixed in.
We had a change of scenery before this huge cold front blew in. I guess it all happened due to the hat.
I probably missed the announcement, but I was just at Angler’s Anonymous and was told that they don’t give a discount for being a member of Angler U anymore. Waterloo doesn’t either. FTU still does. Are there any plans going forward?
