Very normal. I’ve noted this many times. Trout generally hold on the outer perimeter of schooling reds. That’s why I always suggest working a school by hitting the outside edges. 👍

food for thought. I’ve found bigger trout roam with smaller pods of reds rather than those massive schools of reds. Especially if the reds have that water murked up around them.
