We can definitely do that! I think you'll find that information very interesting, along with tips on how and why we fish them.

Hey Angler U members!

We're planning to film new content this weekend in Corpus. Below is a list of what we're trying to cover. Saying that, I'd like to get your feedback on additional topics you'd like to see in the comments. This will help us plan for future videos for you to enjoy and learn from.

1) Dissecting structures to catch more fish

2) How to fish potholes

3) Fishing spoil island drains

4) Popping cork techniques

5) What's in our box? - Fall and winter lure selection

6) Using the wind to your advantage

7) How do cold fronts influence fall and winter fishing patterns?

Thank you Jason. Google earth is a great resource to learn how to identify good areas. Drop-offs are adjacent to shallow structures like flats, spoil islands, oyster reefs, and channels. Plus, you’ll notice the water color changes as the depth increases. In the first picture, I circled the seagrass that meets the color change, which is the drop off. It’s the opposite in the second, where a shallow sand flat drops off to 3 feet of water. Hope this information helps.

I’d contact Capt. Chad Banks (817) 422-4531. Good offshore guide out of Port Aransas.
