If you really want to go above and beyond there’s some wash detergent called nikwax and it’s good to wash all your goretex waders and jackets every couple month with it

The biggest thing is to make sure they dry out completely or mildew will grow and separate the seams. Rinsing them with fresh water definitely helps as well
