Either or. And you’re on the right track. We also fish where we think they would be during the day, but at night. We will take into account that maybe they will pull up a little shallower at night, stuff like that. Ears are your best friend at night, listening for slurps, blow ups, etc, to kinda guide you where to be. It’s not a home run every night. Just keep at it.

2 variables, most the time. Look and see how submerged the barge is. If it’s full, it’s deep, and prolly a big wake. 2nd, it depends on how fast the tug is going.

With AU technical issues reducing to a minimum, I’m FINALLY able to get back on the water! I’ll be offering 5-7 teaching trips a month and will be focusing on what I think is the topic the conditions allow for, the best. Got some of those Ray Ban Meta glasses to record on the fly for you guys that aren’t with me, and I’m pretty pumped at the quality they put out! If y’all are on the fence about getting some, they’re legit.

I’ll still tune the pro series. Only difference is it bends up the insert a little, but I treat them the same.

O’shaughnessy is a style of hook. IE, Rapala Skitterwalks have a #2 O’shaughnessy hook on them. They don’t have a round been on the bottom of the hook, but rather a sharper bend coming back up.

Brass gears over aluminum is another difference
