With the weather starting to change, what is your go to item to stay warm? I know a good jacket and waders but something a little different.
Mine is these gloves. Helps keep my hands warm and dry. Can’t fish with them on but when driving the boat, I am unable to keep in my pockets.
A couple of weeks ago during the livestream Captain Anthony Meshell put out he wanted to take some veterans fishing so my son Keith and I took him up on the offer. Fished the A Team Anglers Tournament in POC 2 weeks ago. Was an absolute blast like always. We found a ton of fish but just not the size we needed. They were in drop offs and in grass as the livestreams have been talking about. All were down deep. I got a change to put my new Laguna Javelin to work. This thing is a BEAST. Loved it and can not be happier with it. The best part is the LSU colors!!! GEAUX TIGERS!!!
Water temperature in Chocolate yesterday was 78 degrees, trout were extremely hungry and aggressive, all caught on soft plastic, had 2 man limit quick.
