Went down and fished with Capt Sanchez on Aug 1. Started out a GRIND and found a good bit of small fish. Made multiple stops and bait was so thick, your pockets were full. The wind picked up to probably about 25 and the fishing got hot!!! James busted his back side to put us on fish and it paid off. I was able to catch a 28.5 inch 7 lbs trout. Funny thing about listening to last night’s webinar about colors. The K Wiggler ball tail I used was one that was purchased at the salesman sample sale as an imperfection!!! Larry we need this one added to the lineup.

Larry did a great interview on Texas Saltwater Fishing Magazine’s podcast. Talked about AU, K Wigglers, and his accident. Great reminder to wear a kill switch.

We had a change of scenery before this huge cold front blew in. I guess it all happened due to the hat.

I would say we lost a little bit of water with this front.
