I’ve been wearing the Barts Bay Armor boots for the last few years and I’m a big fan of them. They’re fairly light and comfortable on my feet. I have a pair for wet wading and a larger sized pair for my waders. They’ve held up well and the sting ray protection is a bonus. I don’t think any of the sting ray protection out there is 100% effective, but I know the Bart’s boots have saved some people from a nasty sting ray hit.

We’re trying to figure it out. The discounts at the other retailers still work, but the Waterloo link is down. Should have a resolution of some sort by Tuesday.

I’d try a topwater or Paddletail on a straight retrieve. It shouldn’t be too difficult to keep a Paddletail off of the shell

Like Medicman mentioned. We discussed the night vision on Wayne’s boat for a few minutes during the livestream last week. It’s pretty impressive

I had a roughly 6 month old Dakota lithium battery completely die on me one morning during a trout tournament. That was late Jan/early Feb. it’s being replaced under warranty, but we’re in June now and I still don’t have the replacement or even an estimated date I’ll receive it. If I were buying a new lithium now I’d take a close look at Lone Star Marine lithium batteries. I’m hearing nothing but good things from guys who use them

Outside of the shell as you come into Nick’s there’s no real hazards that I’m aware of. As you hit the cut to run back into Salt lake it’s kind of a shallow flat on the right side, but just a small patch of shell on the right of the cut.. There’s some shell off of the points on the west side of of Nicks, so I’d just be mindful of that if you’re close to that shoreline and water is low

Yes Keith we use leaders and quick connect clips. The quick connect clips definitely save a lot of time and leader material if you’re changing out baits or jigheads regularky
